Welcome to THE SHOW!

We are very busy playing our concerts in Buenos Aires and listening to the greats of Soda Stereo, Spinetta, and Charly García. We decided to take a break to embark on the translation of this wonderful game into Argentine Spanish, to pay homage to our local legendary artists.

We are translators who, once we get in the groove, break the barriers of time and space to deliver translations outta sight.

Don’t flip your wig if you can’t find the perfect translator for your project, we are here to make things smoother. So, what are you waiting for? Take your project and get on the road with us!

Meet THE BAND!

-The pianist:

Mary (Mariana Bermúdez), is a translator specialized in subtitling, games and comics that translates from English and Japanese to Spanish and vice versa. She’s been learning languages for as long as she can remember. When she's not playing in THE BAND, she's watching anime, reading manga, writing in her diary or playing some JAMS on Spotify.

-The pick:

Eugenia (María Eugenia Cortez) is an English<>Spanish translator, passionate about all things related to astronomy, the culinary world, and the entertainment industry, especially movies and series. Recently, she’s realized that game localization is beginning to grow on her (a thing her inner child would probably be happy about). When she’s not playing in THE BAND, she’s dancing to some song or writing reviews about movies and series.

Carli (Carla Di Biase), is an EN / ES (LatAm) Sworn Translator and a Game Localizer specialized in Scientific-Technical translation, Gender & Psychology. She's also a Conference Interpreter and a member of Women in Games Argentina, AATI and Buenos Aires Province Translators Association.

She's a very curious and energetic person, a cat person, a Trekkie and a Whovian. She believes firmly in the principle of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations and thinks Babylon 5 is one of the best stories ever written.

When she's not playing in THE BAND, she's watching Sci-Fi, reading psychoanalytical texts, having macchiatos with friends or playing the drums.

-The bassist:

Christian Luciani is an English into Spanish translator and an avid gamer since an early age. His interest in translation sparked when he played the Shakespearean-inspired localization of Final Fantasy XII when he was 14, which showed him just how impactful a beautifully translated game can be in somebody’s life.

-The singer:

Florencia Ferrando is an ENG <> ES (LATAM) translator and medical interpreter specialized in healthcare content. She is a very curious person who loves learning new things whether it’s through books or by taking a new course (it could be a medicine-related course or maybe a pottery-related one, who knows?).

Flor is a cat person and skincare lover who enjoys spending time with her friends and family.  She loves watching Animal Planet, space documentaries and anime (especially shounen). She fell in love with localization after taking a localization course at university and decided it was time to go out there and explore new worlds through video games.

When she is not singing with THE BAND, she is either singing around the house, composing a new song or baking chocolate cupcakes with eye pads on.
